WORKING WITH ME

Growing with Plants is blog about gardening,
plant collecting and anything which combines art, design excellence and the botanic experience. That said, it’s my personal belief that a blog should remain honest and non commercial, therefore:

If you are interested in working with me, I would like to:

• Test plants

• Entertainment projects (TV, Documentary)
• Design my own branded containers and plant combinations
• Curate collections of plants for businesses
• Curate products
• Write and design special projects

PRODUCT REVIEW POLICY
My policy on product review may be a bit different than those of
my peers.

I do not accept unsolicited products for review.
I am open to discussing via agent or direct, brands and products which I actually use, or ones which feel that they are a good match.

Ideally, here is how I prefer to work:

1.
As an Influencer – Naturally, I’m ALL about my
readers, and what they want to read about in a blog post from me – I want to provide my audience with real and authentic posts about great brands or products
– or even ideas which I just love, already use or ones which I honestly feel are useful.

Really, believe me when I say that the best
way to utilize an on-line influencer is through real, relevant posts that are
not only authentically based on actual experience, but which genuinely come
from experience with your product.

NOTE: If I find a product to be less than awesome,
I may not review it, but know that I won’t ever write terrible things about a
brand – ( it may just not make it into a post).

Most
plant-people are saavy enough to sniff out even the slightest bit of
insincerity.
Anything I review must be honest and real.
2.
Content Creation – I am open to working with companies or brands on other ventures as well. If I write an article, it will might take more time for if I don’t have the photos, I would want to raise the plant first, and then document the results. That said, I have over 1 million photos in my digital library now, so more likely than not, I have the visual content already – always ask!
My old sponsor kit which is being re-designed while I am laid off and focusing on re-defining my brand.
Product and Visual  Design, I am (well, was)  a professional   – and award winning Fortune 100) graphic and product designer,  so believe me when I say that I might be able to offer some plant brands with something never available before – just ask me. With 30 years of global mass and luxury market design experience,  with style color and trends – something can come out of my crazy brain now that I am not tethered to my former employer. I am on severance and contract until mid 2018 however, so I won’t be able to work on an entertainment project, youth culture, animation, character Disney, Mattel or Dreamworks related project, or toy design for that matter.

Book design though? Container or garden design? Look books, style guides, visual identity, photo direction  and who know’s what? Let’s go for it.

But it it is a gardening or plant related venture – fire away. I am ready to create on all cylinders!

If you are a large brand looking to exercise a brand new aesthetic expression in a really unique or innovative way, or interested in moving your
consumer towards an awesome experience that they don’t even know that they desire yet? Then let’s talk.

It’s what I really do.

4Thanks so much for reading this far!!
